Be gentle with yourself through the ups and downs
If you are reading my blog articles it is probably because you are on your self-love or self-healing journey, and you are working on becoming a better version of yourself, wanting to change aspects of your life, and looking for tools, solutions, tips, etc. This is awesome!!! Just having the intention to change is already setting the foundation for it to happen. I just want you to remember to be gentle with yourself through it all.
Be gentle with yourself through the ups and downs of life, of your self-love and self-healing journey. There will be moments of frustration when you feel that you are not progressing, you are. You are progressing even if it doesn’t seem like it, even if you have a setback. Self-compassion and patience with yourself are also very important parts of loving yourself. Give yourself a break. Applaud yourself. Do something that makes you feel good. Rest. Sleep. Breathe. Meditate. Repeat encouraging affirmations to yourself.
