Confidence repels and propels

I think one of the points of being confident is mastering ourselves, our lives, and who we allow into our space. Confidence filters who can access you, your life, and your space. Confidence repulses those who want to control you, but they know it will be hard for them to do so because confident people tend to speak up and stand up for themselves. Confidence can be intimidating to those who aren’t secure in themselves.

Keep being confident. Keep being secure. Stay in your power. The more you like yourself, the more some people won’t like you. They don’t like that you like yourself. The more you love who you are, the more some people will hate you because how dare you like yourself when they struggle to like themselves.

Confident people don’t mix well with insecure people. It’s like oil and water. Displaying confidence can irritate many people. When a person exudes confidence, it can sometimes evoke discomfort or irritation in others who may feel overshadowed or threatened by that self-assuredness. This disparity in self-perception can create a noticeable tension, as the confident person’s assertiveness may unintentionally highlight the insecurities of those around them.

Confident people aren’t free of insecurities; they just don’t let them run their lives. They feel doubt like anyone else, but they face it rather than hide from it. They question it, work through it, and keep moving anyway. Instead of letting their insecurities define them, they use them as signals, things to grow from, not things to shrink because of. They don’t need to be perfect to show up; they just need to be real and willing to try. Confident people build trust in themselves. They know they can handle discomfort, rejection, or failure if it comes. That’s what makes them powerful, not the absence of insecurity, but the way they deal with it.

Confidence repels the wrong people and pulls you toward the life meant for you.
